I am a Graphic Designer and Printmaker from a little town way down South called Magee. Magee is in the great state of Mississippi and is the same little town that four generations of my family are from.
Before coming to MICA, to earn my MFA in Graphic Design, I earned a BFA in both Fine Art Printmaking and Graphic Design from Mississippi State University.
My work has been published by HOW Magazine, Focal Press’s book “No Plastic Sleeves,” and Princeton Architectural Press’s book “Graphic Design Thinking.” My work has also been featured in several exhibitions across the deep South and Mid-Atlantic, including Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia, and Maryland.
Having grown up in the Deep Deep South, I have a great appreciation for being outdoors and how we interact with nature. And at the core of everything that I work on, I try to capture at least a hand full of nuances that are found in nature.
